Dating in the Dark and Other Things That Aren't Real...

The other night after I got home from my "special" date, I turned on the TV.  What was on?  "Dating in the Dark."  This is quite possibly the most ridiculous show I have ever seen.  A group of men and a group of women live in a house, but never get to see each other unless they are in "the dark room."

Granted, we've all been on a date with some guy or girl that we met at a bar, showed up and thought... aww hell, you were so much cuter when I was drunk and it was dark.

Below are a few images from the show.  These people literally SIT IN THE DARK and go on dates.  I understand they are trying to take looks out of it, but let's think.  How can we make this date even MORE awkward....I know...Let's put them in the DARK! (Exhibit A)

Essentially they are trying to take looks out of the equation, but hello...looks are important.  Not necessarily whether you are hot or not (see the a notorious website below), but if you are attracted to someone or not.

Essentially, the show did end up boiling down to looks as one girl didn't think her guy was hot enough and left.  The other couples weren't so sure, but they probably figured...hell you look decent enough and I'm already here!

"Dating in the Dark" = Weirdest dating show ever.  The fact that these people went on this show in the first places means they are desperate or looking for 15 minutes of fame, but it also explains...this is why you are single.
